How to Use the Alora Grove Gua Sha Stone
The Gua Sha Stone provides a deeper massage than a jade roller and can help release tension while enhancing the absorption of Alora Grove Pain Relief Salve.
Before You Begin
- Apply a generous layer of Alora Grove Pain Relief Salve to the area you wish to massage.
- Hold the Gua Sha stone at approximately a 15–45 degree angle against the skin.
For the Neck & Shoulders
- Start at the base of the neck.
- Gently glide upward toward the jawline.
- Repeat 5–10 strokes on each side.
- For shoulders, glide from the neck outward toward the shoulder joint.
For Arms & Hands
- Start at the wrist and glide toward the elbow.
- Continue from the elbow toward the shoulder.
- Use the curved edge to massage the palms and base of the thumb.
For Legs
- Start near the ankle.
- Glide upward toward the knee.
- Continue from the knee toward the hip.
- Use light-to-medium pressure.
For Feet
- Apply salve to the soles of the feet.
- Use the curved edge of the stone to massage from heel to toes.
- Focus on tender or overworked areas.
For Facial Use
- Apply a facial oil or moisturizer.
- Use very light pressure.
- Glide from the center of the face outward toward the ears.
- Repeat 5–10 times per area.
Important Tips
